Background images can be used to create some very easy and interesting effects. Illustrated here are-

• Tiling backgrounds that will always fill a page.
• Backgrounds that scroll or remain fixed behind your content.
• Backgrounds used to create a header or side bar.

Background images are useful because they do not interact or interfere with your page content. The images for your background can be made in Freeway and Exported, or made and saved as gif or jpeg in any other application. Images should be the correct dimensions and at 72px", care should be taken with file size to reduce download time.

Background images are placed on the page (or Master Page) using the Image selection in the Inspector.

There are a number of Actions that can be applied to your page to control the behaviour of the background.
