Steps |
This entire background is a small gif file made in Freeway. On the pasteboard at the side of your page, make a gif box 2px wide and 50px deep filled with red. Butted under that make another box 2px x 3px filled with white and another 2px x 1000px filled with yellow. (a guide is useful). You now have a narrow vertical bar made of three pieces with no gaps between them. Select all three boxes and export as "background.gif" to your project files. In the Inspector, select that exported gif as your image. It will tile across the page but vertical tiling will only be seen if your page is longer than your gif - 1053px in this case! You can do this the other way round to create a side bar. Navigation items or text can be placed on your page over the background. |
